Would like to take this oppurtunity to wish congratulations to Cristiano Ronaldo for winning (again!) the PFA Players' Player of the Year (2008) Award. Not like he reads my blog la. LOL.He definately has deserved the award this year. He has taken English football to new heights and has helped Manchester United in more ways than one this season. A true asset for any team.
So far he has scored 38 goals this season which is an amazing feet for a winger. He is the top scorer (with 28 goals) in the EPL beating the likes of Adebayor, Berbatov, Torres and Santa Cruz. Wonderful achievement for a midfielder in my opinion. He isn't perfect but he is getting there. Occasional burst of selfishness and stubborness but which footballer isn't at some point or rather. Has grown tremendously since the 2006 World Cup.
Being a constant target of spectator jeering, bad tackles and on the field bullying, he is still able to overcome it and play exceptional football. At times its what actually fuels him. Keep up the great work CR7. A true football legend in the making. :D
